I have 2 servers:
Frontend consists of:
- Varnish
- Apache2 IP
xxx.xxx.xxx.98
Default backend definition. Set this to point to your content server.
backend default {
.host = "xxx.xxx.xxx.21";
.port = "8080";
}
Backend Server consists of:
- IP
xxx.xxx.xxx.21
Apache 2 and a virtualhost (mysite.com) using Letsencrypt SSL- The mysite.com DNS A-record points to the Varnish server -
xxx.xxx.xxx.98
.
Traffic is correctly sent from the Varnish server to the backend server, but its not displaying the virtualhost site, only the webroot page at /var/www/html/.
What am I doing wrong?
linux apache-http-server reverse-proxy varnish
