So i enter a some basic algebra on my calculator
24xy/(27x^(-2))÷(36x^2 y^(-2))/(45xy^4)

my pronlem is that, this is a wrong answer the correct answer should be $$dfrac{10x^2 y^8}9$$
and I get $dfrac{10x y^8}9$ on the calculator, I also check it by hand and on the computer as you can see on the screenshot my question is why I'm getting that answer on the calculator.

$$ frac{24xy}{frac{27x^{-2}}{frac{36x^2 y^{-2}}{(45xy^4)}}} $$
That is, a sequence of multiplications and divisions occurs in left-to-right order. An easier example:
$12/2/2/3 = 1$
What is shown on your calculator is
$$ frac{frac{24xy}{27x^{-2}}}{frac{36x^2 y^{-2}}{45 xy^4 }} $$
which can be obtained by parenthesizing your original string: "(24xy/(27x^(-2) ))÷((36x^2 y^(-2))/(45xy^4))".
This should also be a reminder to not be sloppy about the width of the horizontal lines in nested divisions, since that width is the only indication about the grouping, and hence ordering, of the divisions.
