How to add a custom sort to excel filter?
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
}
I have a table wih multiple columns which I want to sort by a custom rule. That works fine and isn't an issue.
But I need to add the sort as a permanent option to my filter. The best solution for me would be that it always uses the custom sorting when using the default A-Z or Z-A sorting buttons.
It's a rather complex sorting logic which sorts over multiple colums. So just saving a custom list won't fix my problem. The solution should be portable so that I can give it to a client without further instructions.
How can I achieve this?

Hi, have you tried recording a macro? I code some macros that set custom filters that can't be done any other, fast and easy, way. You only need one button to run them, or just a couple of steps.

With the question being rather vague it is hard to say , but the macro suggestion could work well. Depending on what kind of data you are sorting helper columns might remove some complexity. (creation of new columns based of formulas which provide one or more levels of sorting).

Could you provide a simple sample? Did you try any methods?
