Android phone wont connect to windows 10 via Bluetooth

I have an LG G7 ThinQ running Android 8.0.0
I had a Samsung Galaxy s5 running Android 6.0.1
I have two machines both running Windows 10 Enterprise build 1803
Machine 1 is a custom built desktop with a MSI z270I motherboard that has a built-in Intel wireless bluetooth card.
Machine 2 is a prebuilt HP desktop with an unknown motherboard that has a Realtek Bluetooth 4.2 Adapter
My phone will pair, but not connect to Machine 1 over bluetooth. It will however pair and connect to machine 2 over bluetooth, showing up as a media device through which I can play sounds from my phone into my desktop.

I have done nothing extra on Machine 2, I have actually done less than on Machine 1 as I have tried to pair/unpair, and uninstall/reinstall drivers to no avail. While on my other machine, I just turn on bluetooth and connect via my phone.
I assume this is due to a difference of features for each bluetooth driver, being that Realtek added in phone support, and Intel did not.
I have found mutliple posts on other websites and on this site that state people are having the same issue, but they lack the secondary system to test on. The Microsoft help forums are as useless as ever, just telling people how to connect their phones over bluetooth, or to install the manufacturer's drivers.
Is there anything that can be done? I will keep looking into this myself, and will update if I find a solution.
