Open certain web pages on particular monitor with particular size when plugging into docking station

0

I have a laptop (running windows) and a dock, which is connected to two monitors. When I plug the laptop into the dock, I would like it to automatically open two web pages side-by-side on a specific monitor (i.e. setting a specific window size, location and monitor). It would also be nice to close those two windows when I disconnect from the dock. I generally already have a couple of Chrome windows open, and it seems that starting a new Chrome instance (using the windows position and geometry options) from the command line when Chrome is already running ignores the geometry options. Do other browsers allow for spawning a new window with a particular geometry?

For triggering the action, I'm thinking of EventGhost, but wondering if there are any easier ways.
