How to turn of Lastpass auto-suggest when creating a website

-1

When creating a new Lastpass entry I usually copy-paste the website link in the URL.

Even though I clearly already know what the website is, it auto-suggests a whole list of seemingly random websites.
Since I want to go to the next field I click there, but I end up clicking on one of the suggestions instead. This then auto-fills fields like Name and Folder, overriding date I often entered before.

Another solution would be to use TAB to go to the other fields but I find this very strange behavior and would like to turn it off. Any of these changes would be helpful:

- Turn off auto-suggest completely

- Don't auto-suggest when data has been pasted in the URL field, clearly the person knows what they're doing

- Don't override any data the user has already put in

How to configure Lastpass to change this behavior?

Hi, and welcome to SuperUser. We're a general Q and A site. We are not LastPass, nor are there any developers of LastPass on this site. Your suggestions should be sent to LastPass, otherwise they will not be honoured.

  • @LPChip I'm not asking for a change in the software, but a configuration setting that will make Lastpass behave differently.

  • Your question really suggest otherwise, but that is basically a matter of how you written it. Maybe you can edit your question to reword it.
