ActiveX control working when executing from system C://index.html, but when hosting it on server ActiveX...
I have an HTML file containing some code of JavaScript store in a path in e.g., C://Users/index.html
. When I double click on the file and run it via internet explorer it gives me a popup for ActiveX control and when I allow it, it does what it is supposed to do.
But when I host the website on a domain and run it using HTTP Server, then it doesn't prompt me for ActiveX Control and doesn't work. How is it related, and what all changes i have to do?

Talk to your IT about the GPOs you got in place. ActiveX might be disabled.
