WIndows 10 cannot boot when Intel Virturalization (VMX) enabled in BIOS
Just replaced my failed mobo with a new one, same brand. The new mobo need to enable both VT-x and Intel VMX to use virtualization in Windows 10, so I enable both in BIOS. And I install a new Windows 10 just to make sure no residue problems been carried to the new system. All set and power it up, it cannot boot, blue screen with error code 0x00000001. After trying for a few days, I found that when I enable Intel Virtualization (VMX) in BIOS, it cannot boot and with this error code. When I disable VMX, it can boot strong and healthy. (VT-x on the other hand doesn't affect the boot). But then with VMX disabled in BIOS Windows 10 cannot use hardware accelerated virtualization, e.g. Hyper-V Hypervisor cannot be enabled, HAXM in Android Studio does not work.
The error code is related to improper installation of Windows or RAM problem, but firstly it is a new installation, secondly if installation problem then why when VMX is disabled the Windows can boot normally. I am running out of options now. Can somebody please help.
