How to get CPU usage percentage command in bash script

how do I get the CURRENT percentage of CPU in a simple output of simply a percentage? i need to fit in a file of 10 lines each line containing stuff like name,time,"cpu percentage, .. and so on.
maybe i should use grep or something? this is the script im writing for now
