Password will expire , current password unknown
I have worked on my computer for one month now. Since that time I was never asked to enter password when starting the computer. Now I started my computer and before it reaches the desktop then there was a screen showing that the password will soon expire and I shall change it ; and there is the textbox for entering the current password. I do not know the current password because I was never asked to enter it when starting the computer ; it connects automatcially ! I restarted the computer and it always stoped at the password expiring screen ! There is the administrator button below the textbox but I do not know the admin password. So how to fix the problem ?

Just push ENTER. Leave the current password blank. This sounds like a common bug when someone creates a user account via a script during a new computer deployment or similar. The password is blank, but it defaults to requiring a change every 30 days.

You can also just change the local group policy so that the password never expires and/or set the "Password never expires" on the user in question.

Yes. You should change the password to get past the change requirement. I believe you can actually leave it blank. Then disable the change password requirement. That is easy enough: tenforums.com/tutorials/… additionally, you can remove the password as well if you want by setting it back to blank if you set one previously.
