Can no longer update Thunderbird colours using userChrome.css
A few months back I used the userChrome.css file to specify text colour and background colours in Thunderbird. I now want to make further changes but nothing I do has any effect on the colours. Is there a way to "reset" the colours to defaults? Am I missing some step that is preventing the colours from changing?
I have tried installing the "Account Colors" extension, but this also has no effect on the colours.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you change themes? Some themes have colors set which override anything in "userchrome.css". If you changed themes, just revert to the default & see if your colors are applied. You might also use a CSS checker in case you mis-edited anything in the CSS file.
