Alienware mx18x r1 graphics card CPU fried - is there a fault?
I want to find out if there was a fault with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 580M GFX card? I got the alienware 8 beeps, no display on boot after a couple of months of it running fine (bought very cheap recently second hand). The computer repair guy says he can only source a chip for the card because it's so old and will cost £150. I'm just wondering if this card is actually faulty and will just go on the blink again in another few months?
