Using input file title for output title in ffmpeg

0

I want to convert a number of files using ffmpeg, and to keep things organized, I would like to use the title of the source file as the output title, something like this : ffmpeg -i title.ext1 %t.ext2. (Obviously this doesn't work, as %t stands for timestamp.)

Is there a way to do this in ffmpeg?

No. You will have to use shell variables for this.
