Why xcode is not creating git repo for my project?

0

I am trying to create a new Xcode project that is supposed to use git, however, the get repo is not created?

I even get this the first thing:

Run

git config --global user.email "you@example.com"

git config --global user.name "Your Name"

to set your account's default identity.

Omit --global to set the identity only in this repository.

fatal: unable to auto-detect email address
