Bluetooth Headphone Issue on Dell Inspiron 13-5378 Signature Edition

0

So, my laptop does a weird thing with my bluetooth headphones, where it gives 2 choices for audio outputs when connected, Headphones (MPOW-059 Stereo) or Headset (MPOW-059 Hands-Free). For reference, it's the MPOW-059 wireless bluetooth headphones by Mpow. This is where we come to the issue. The Stereo output gives hands down better audio quality. You can't even compare the two. Stereo is crisp and clear sound with no issues whatsoever, while the Hands-Free output sounds very hollow and empty (not just first world problems, but it legitimately sounds like you're actually listening to it through a thin wall).

This normally isn't an issue since I just use stereo output, but when I play certain games like Starcraft 2, it requires me to use the hands-free output. If I don't, it won't output any volume at all from the game or any other apps. When I use the hands-free output, it works fine and the game's audio quality is great, but all other apps have the same problem with extremely poor audio quality. I was just wondering if anyone might have any suggestions or know what the problem is.

I've already tried updating and reinstalling drivers for realtek audio, but that only made the problem worse until I managed to finally restore them to what they were previously. I'm glad to answer any other questions or give any more information in relation to the problem or my laptop in order to try and give insight to what the problem may be.

Any insight as to what the issue may be would be greatly appreciated, and I hope that you all have a splendid day!
