Forte da Trombeta é um forte localizado no abismo de Helm. Se uma trombeta fosse tocada na torre deste forte, o som ecoava pelo abismo atrás. Ali Théoden e os Rohirrim se refugiaram do ataque de Isengard, comandado por Saruman.
Possui esse nome porque, se o dito instrumento for tocado no forte, o eco persiste por muito tempo com intensidade pouco diminuída, como se centenas de mensageiros respondessem ao chamado. Segundo as histórias, nunca foi tomado se houvesse homens o defendendo. Foi na frente de seus portões que caíram Háma e muitos outros.
