Android Phone with broken screen not recognized by adb

I recently managed to break the screen of my ASUS ZenFone AR. The screen is black and i can not tell if touch is still working or not. Now I tried to mirror the screen on my Windows 8.1 computer with Android Control. It worked, but after I have restarted my phone, adb did not recognize it anymore. It still appears in device manager as a mtp device but thats it.
The Phone has USB Debugging activated, runs Android 7, is not rooted and is not connected to the internet.
I am new to this forum. So if information is missing, ask me about it.
