nVidia GTX + Quadro on the same PC
I have an Nvidia GTX 1060 with the nVidia driver and this card is good enough for gaming, it is poor for working with SolidWorks and other 3D design applications.
I am thinking to buy a PNY Nvidia Quadro (P400?) and put it in the same PC. I have read that this card should work with my Nvidia driver, but I don't know if I can use it without connecting any monitor to it.
Currently, I have 3x24'' monitors connected to my GTX and I don't want to change this setup.
Will SolidWorks run better with simply adding a Quadro on a different PCIe slot?
