How to resolve the xscreensave-lock error on Real VNC

0

In VNC Viewer, I am getting the error shown in the screenshot below. Does anyone know how to resolve it without killing the session?

Text of the error is "No Protocol Specified" / "(xscreensaver-lock:4926): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :1"

xscreensave-lock_error

  • That isn't a viewer error it is coming from the server by the looks of it. Do you know if it is a RealVNC server you are connecting to? Which OS is the server running on (some linux distro I'm sure)?
