O rio Gandaki, Gandak, Narayani ou Kali Gandaki tem 690 km de extensão, e é formado pela junção de vários outros na região central do Nepal. Drena toda a área centro-ocidental do país e atravessa as planícies de Bihar, na Índia - provocando por vezes cheias consideráveis -, antes de confluir no Ganges em Patna. No seu percurso através do Nepal, o Kali Gandaki passa entre as montanhas de Annapurna e Dhaulagiri, formando o vale mais fundo do mundo, 5 500 m abaixo do pico de Dhaulagiri (8 172 m).
