Remove unwanted photos from Windows 10 lock screen background rotation

0

I have observed this phenomenon (bug?) where Windows decides to use ALL pictures from my library when I point Background to the Pictures folder. This means, it shows me photos from music album art that got downloaded somewhere and probably other stuff that I don't want shown randomly.

I can't seem to remove the photos from circulation (see image). None of the photos selected by Windows (again, see image) are in the Pictures folder nor do I want them there. There is no right click option on any of them and clicking them just apparently makes them the current photo. What if I want to have a single fixed photo?

I want to remove unwanted photos from circulation

Is there a way to fix this or do what I'm trying to do?
