Error when importing a project in Android Studio

0

When I import a project, I get errors in the build view:

gradle sync failed basic functionality will not work properly

and

Could not find com.android.support.constraint:constraint-layout:1.1.3.

The error occurs when I create a new activity

  • This is caused by a incorrect configuration: stackoverflow.com/questions/37992187/… but I don’t know enough about Android Studio to formulate a worthwhile answer. Perhaps somebody else can though.
