How can I get the list of songs on a memory card in the order it is played by an mp3 player?

-1

There are many tips how to force a mp3 player (actually a portable speaker, in my case) to play songs in a desired order. I don't care for this. I just want to get the list of the songs in the order they are played. I've tried to use the dir command on the CMD but it doesn't give the exact order. BTW, I my case some of the songs in the memory card are located in subdirectories.

What mp3player? Each player will access the disk in whatever way it is programmed to do if your don't specify a particular order.

  • Is there any way to learn how it accesses the songs?
