How do I stop the zippyshare in Chrome? [closed]

Recently, my Chrome browser requested me to log in (after using it for 2 years without logging in). Foolishly, I did it. Then I started getting annoying popups from "zippyshare", whether I was using Chrome or not. Chrome does not list it as an add-on, and I don't want to hear about other sites, or have annoying windows pop-up while I am doing something else.
I checked on how to use Chrome without logging in, and they seem to indicate I could only do it if I had never logged in, otherwise I am a "guest" on my own computer, without access to my own bookmarks/passwords.
