LTE Drops Randomly using Mofi 4500 Router

I've got a data plan through Sprint and I'm using the MOFI4500-4GXeLTE-V2 router. My connection typically gets 20-30 Mbps speed tests and pings are generally 40-80ms range. The Mofi router overview page reports signal strength -99dBm, and signal quality of -7.5. It's generally a very usable signal.

The problem comes in where randomly the connection will "drop out" for 5-30 seconds. Ping reports "Destination Net Unreachable". The MoFi router interface reports that there is no connection to the internet. However, during the drop-out the router continues to report the same parameters for signal strength and quality.

How should I troubleshoot this?
