Firefox extremely slow within VPN

I'm facing an issue using Firefox within a VPN connection. The Firefox is extremely slow. While other browsers continue in normal speed, considering the additional VPN overhead.
I can see in the in the developer tool that the slowness is before load the page assets. That brings me to believe that the problems is not only downloads the assets used by the page. But the steps before that. Maybe DNS?
But I'm not able to find out why browsers like Brave and Chromium work fine while Firefox is terrible slow. How can I get more debug information from Firefox to discover what's going on? Is there some difference how Firefox and other browser resolve the address?
Thanks
