Start up glitch for Mac OS x [closed]

My screen goes white showing a white screen with cursor in the corner and when you move it turns into a rainbow ball.When I try to start up my Mac OS x snow leopard normally, it will load normal then it will glitch after it gets to blue screen then goes to this.
