VS Code scrambled all my code
I am learning C++ and was making a little game using Visual Studio Code on Debian Linux. I wanted to change the name of a function, so I used the 'Change all occurrences' -> Right click on function name -> Change all occurrences.
Suddenly everything in the editor got scrambled and I am unable to get it back as it was with Ctrl-Z. Any idea how to fix this ?

I am not familiar with vscode, but did you try doing the reverse? i.e. if you tried changing "foo" to "bar", now change "bar" to "foo". Backup what you have now so if this makes anything worse, you'll be safe.

Welcome to Super User! It looks like you have created a second account, which will also interfere with your ability to comment within your thread and to accept an answer. See How can one link/merge/combine/associate two accounts/users? and/or I accidentally created two accounts; how do I merge them? for guidance on how to merge your accounts.
