Asus router doesn't log packets

0

I have Asus WL520-GU router and no matter what option I choose in the "Logged packets type" - there are never any logged packets appear in the system log.

Logging is enabled on a such page:

https://event.asus.com/2009/networks/dummy_ui/en/Advanced_BasicFirewall_Content.html

System log always looks like this (IP addresses removed):

Jan 1 00:00:18 dhcp client: skipping resetting IP address to 0.0.0.0
Jan 1 00:00:18 dhcp client: deconfig: lease is lost
Jan 1 00:00:19 dhcp client: bound IP : *.*.*.* from *.*.*.*
Jan 1 00:00:20 WAN Connection: WAN was exceptionally disconnected.
Jan 1 00:00:21 pppd[119]: Plugin pppol2tp.so loaded.
Jan 1 00:00:21 pppd[119]: pppd 2.4.2 started by (unknown), uid 0
Jan 1 00:00:21 pppd[119]: Using interface ppp0
Jan 1 00:00:21 pppd[119]: Connect: ppp0 <--> l2tp (*.*.*.*)
Jan 1 00:00:27 pppd[119]: CHAP authentication succeeded: CHAP authentication success, unit 2850
Jan 1 00:00:28 pppd[119]: local IP address *.*.*.*
Jan 1 00:00:28 pppd[119]: remote IP address *.*.*.*
Jan 1 00:00:28 pppd[119]: primary DNS address *.*.*.*
Jan 1 00:00:28 pppd[119]: secondary DNS address *.*.*.*
Jan 1 00:00:29 WAN Connection: WAN was restored.
Jan 1 00:00:30 L2TP: connect to ISP
Jan 2 00:46:39 ntp client: time is synchronized to ***

Router's firmware is official and the latest.

Why packets are not logged and how to enable the logging?
