I have no idea why.

I am pingging my server. Yet it disconnects. Is the modem at fault, or router at fault?

I tried pinging another router. Same problem.

This is very annoying when playing say, overwatch.

It happens recently.

I set DNS server to

 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 9.9.9.9
149.112.112.112

Could this be a problem?

I changed the DNS back and it solves the problem. The thing is I want that DNS. It allows me to bypass things.

So, what should I do?

  • This is unlikely to be a DNS problem. It could be any number of things, but the most likely is faulty WIFI hardware/driver or noisy WIFI environment causing congestion. It could also be something to do with the route to 192.168.0.1 - it is not clear from your post what that device is or how it's being reached.
