Windows stalls when sending a SCP from Linux CentOS server v7.6 to Windows 10 client PC [on hold]

Anyone experience a problem doing SCP of a 200Mb file from a CentOS server v7.6 kernel 4.19 to a Windows 10 i5 or i7 PC client laptop? Downstream only to PC. We see that Windows 10 client PC constricts the TCP/IP Window size and cannot handle the 200Mb downloads and stalls to a grinding halt. We tried PSCP and it works better but stalls sometimes, and on Ubuntu v14/16/18 it works fine consistently but not with CentOS? Anyone have any ideas? Using a 1G a Windows PC behind a wireless router going to/from a CentOS cloud server over a FIOS 1G fiber connection. THX

  • Consider using scp -v to add some information to your post. Do you know at what percentage it stalls, is it near to 100%?

  • If you're having trouble getting scp to run reliably, see if you can use rsync instead. With rsync, if you have to restart the transfer it'll pick up where it left off.
