Outlook 2016 auto populate date in reverse format

This will be an easy question for most, but it has done my head in. I need someway to auto populate the subject part of the email for a date format as follows "yyyymmdd-" this needs to be for every email I send. I also need to do this for every email that I answer or forwatd, so on answering it would replace the date. Is that possible?

  • We can design a custom form to auto populate current date to the subject field, but this doesn't work for emails you reply or forward to. To fulfill your needs, you may need to do it via vba or an thir-party add-in. See this thread on how to use a custom form to partly achieve the goal: social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/…
